Shift Leader Duties - Supervise and lead a team of shift employees - Ensure smooth operations during assigned shifts - Provide excellent customer service to pet owners - Oversee pet care activities, including feeding, grooming, and exercise - Monitor and maintain cleanliness and hygiene standards in the facility - Assist with animal restraint and handling when necessary - Administer medications or treatments as directed by veterinarians - Maintain accurate records of pet information and medical history Experience - Previous experience in a similar role preferred - Knowledge of pet care practices and basic animal behavior - Familiarity with veterinary procedures and terminology - Ability to handle and restrain animals safely and effectively - Strong communication skills to interact with customers and team members - Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and handle multiple tasks simultaneously Please note that heavy lifting may be required in this position.
