Responsibilities:
- Oversee the daily operations of the kennel facility - Ensure the well-being and safety of all animals in the kennel - Coordinate and supervise a team of kennel staff - Schedule and manage animal feeding, exercise, and medication administration - Maintain cleanliness and hygiene standards in the kennel area - Monitor and report any changes in animal behavior or health to the veterinary team - Assist with grooming and bathing of animals as needed - Provide excellent customer service to pet owners and address any concerns or questions Requirements:
- Previous experience in animal care or a related field (e.
g.
, veterinary technician, pet grooming) - Strong knowledge of animal handling techniques and behavior - Ability to lift heavy objects and animals (up to 50 pounds) - Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written - Detail-oriented with strong organizational skills - Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and handle multiple tasks simultaneously - Flexibility to work weekends, holidays, and evenings as needed Note:
