Monday-Thursday 9am-3pm As the Office Assistant you will have the opportunity to be a part of building the SF Family culture.
Joining forces with the staff team you will use your talents and abilities to minister to many people, both locally and abroad.
Your primary focus will be in three areas:
creating and contributing to an inviting office atmosphere, being the financial liaison for the church with our bookkeeping and payroll provider, and ministry support.
The following are some of the areas that you will be responsible for:
Financial Responsibilities Direct the counting team, processing, and recording of all donations.
Manage individual donor records by utilizing our outside company agreement.
Be the point of contact and manage our relationship with the bookkeeping and payroll management company.
Enter financial data weekly for the bookkeeper.
Manage and submit timesheets for employees to our payroll provider.
Collaborate with the Finance Team concerning the church budget Prepare expenditure requests as needed Write Checks as needed Meet with the finance team one time a month Print Financial Reports as prepared by our team.
The following are some of the areas that you will share:
Shared Office Responsibilities Become part of the staff team.
Be a warm, inviting and efficient first impression to visitors to the office.
Serve visitors by greeting, welcoming, directing and announcing them appropriately.
Answer, screen and forward any incoming phone calls while providing basic information when needed.
Check email and respond appropriately.
Receive and sort daily mail/deliveries/couriers.
Place calls for pick-up by Fed Ex or UPS as needed.
Maintain security by following procedures and controlling access.
Update appointment calendars, book rooms and resources, and schedule meetings/appointments.
Perform other clerical duties such as filing, photocopying, collating, binding, faxing, assisting with mailings, etc.
Maintain an office supply ordering list and order office.
Shared Ministry Responsibilities Assist the ministry staff Assist in coordinating ministry needs including:
weddings, funerals, events, specific ministry initiatives, fund raisers, etc.

A background in finance and/or accounting is preferred but not required.

The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
